Heart of Yoga Workshop With Ellen Engel
We are very pleased to welcome Ellen Engel to Yoga Blackpool this summer for a series of Heart of Yoga Workshops.
Join us for a weekend to remember the ancient principles of Hatha Yoga and enjoy a gentle Hatha Vinyasa practice.
This is a 3 day workshop. If you are unable to attend the whole weekend you can come for just one or 2 sessions. On Friday Ellen will be going through the foundation of the workshop, so we recommend attending Friday even if you cant attend the full weekend.
There will be no fancy asana or pranayama, nothing to learn of what life already is. Beside some storytelling we will practice to ensure that your mind and body will take it’s own Yoga home and into the Yoga you already do. Not another style, just simple things to integrate in to what already is.

About Ellen:
During the last ten years Ellen has explored the principles of Hatha Yoga in a serious but soft way. Her aim is not to load more stuff on to you but to help the body to remember the beauty that there is and ever was in each of us. Our soft animal human bodies. No words really can do this, but just our breath in movement. Our ongoing belonging in nature as nature, no matter how crazy the world around us is turning.
She is grateful for her teacher Mark Whitwell who shared these tools generously in a loving friendship over several years now. In him, she saw the vibrations of Krishnamacharya and his son T.K.V. Desikachar and deeply respects his beautiful way of bringing these, more or less lost principles, back into a modern way of Life, of Yoga.
